Established in 1957, the Diocese of Gary has grown to serve over 190,000 Catholics in 75 parishes of diverse ethnic and social backgrounds. Prominent schools, hospitals, care centers/shelters, and other outreach programs exist today as a testimony to the faith and dedication of this dynamic Christian community.
