Director of Youth Ministry
The Diocese of Belleville is seeking a Director of Youth Ministry.
The Director of Youth Ministry affirms and calls forth the unique gifts of youth by providing opportunities for ongoing spiritual and leadership development. The Director provides resources and advocacy for ministry leaders and youth of the diocese in the context of youth ministry. This position develops, implements, and facilitates diocesan youth ministry events and programs and directly and indirectly serves pastors, parishes and lay ecclesial ministers. The Director of Youth Ministry also coordinates diocesan participation in youth ministry on a regional, national and international level.
Essential qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Pastoral Ministry or Theology, management skills with 5-8 years’ experience in Youth Ministry/Management; or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills. The Director of Youth Ministry is required to be a faithful committed Catholic who understands and accepts the teachings and disciplines of the Catholic Church.

- Upholding the mission, vision and values of the Agency.

- 10 or more yrs experience in nonprofit human service agency leadership, demonstrating innovative & progressive management in a multidisciplinary professional environment.
- Experience with multicultural services especially in the Hispanic community.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Director Of Educational Services – Superintendent Of Schools
The Archdiocese of Cincinnati, the eighth largest network of Catholic Schools, is searching for a Director of Educational Services – Superintendent of Schools. The Director of Educational Services supervises, coordinates and develops programs, policies and services for the Department of Educational Services which includes the offices of CSO (Catholic School Office), CISE (Catholic Inner City Schools) and Evangelization & Catechesis. The Director advises the Archbishop on policy matters pertaining to the department and serves as the liaison to the broader community in the area of education in the Archdiocese. The Director of Educational Services also serves as the Superintendent of Catholic Schools for the Archdiocese. The Superintendent plans, administers, supervises, coordinates and evaluates all areas of education in the Archdiocese through the Catholic School Office. Candidates must have a Master’s degree in educational administration (doctorate preferred) and at least five years experience in Catholic school administration and management, preferably as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent. Candidates must also be a practicing Catholic and have a strong commitment to Catholic education. Candidates must be certifiable in administration in the State of Ohio and be knowledgeable of local, state and federal regulations, requirements and programs and possess knowledge of the certification process. The Superintendent of Schools oversees all aspects of school operations for the Joliet Diocesan schools, including but not limited to managing the Catholic Schools Office and assuring that the schools are Catholic and academically excellent. Moreover, the Superintendent is responsible to lead both school personnel and lay school leaders in stabilizing and growing enrollment in the schools, in fostering non-tuition based financial support for the schools and needy families, and in ensuring that the schools are managed in a fiscally sound manner. Must have an advanced degree in Educational Administration (Ph.D. or EDS. Preferred), and several years of experience in administration and management in a Catholic school system. Must have previous exp. in the role of Principal or President of a Catholic school of significant scope and complexity. Previous exp. as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent is preferred. Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church, and have a strong commitment to the philosophy and teaching of the mission of the Catholic Church. Successful candidates must also have demonstrated leadership success, excellent written and verbal communication and human relations skills, and a sound knowledge of budgetary and other managerial procedures.
