Ministry Practicum

The student will be assigned a specific practicum each year of the program. During the first three years of the program the practicum assignment will be in the parish. The fourth year the assignment will be at an institution outside of the parish. Some of the outside practicums are:

· Hospice

· Prison Ministry

· Nursing Home Ministry

· Shelters/Soup Kitchens

· Juvenile Ministry

· Youth Homes

· Social Justice Commission

These practicums are preformed on a weekly basis.  Time will be given for Theological Reflection on the practicums.
