Introduction to Scripture
To study the religious tradition and literature of ancient Israel and early Judaism included in the canonical books of the Old Testament. The course includes the historical background of the tradition , the literary forms contained within the collection , as well as, major theological themes. To understand the New Scripture in the historical, cultural, religious and social context in which it was written. The course introduces methodological tools employed in research and the theologies of the new Scripture.
Introduction to Theology
To study the nature of theology, the historical development of theology , the analysis of theology in the World Church Period, the nature of revelation and faith as they relate to theology, and the magisterium of the church.
Introduction to Morality
It is the understanding of scriptural , theological and philosophical foundations and principals of Catholic moral teachings, conscience formation , and decision making.
Christology
The understanding of God’s self-revelation in creation, Scripture, and the person of Jesus.
Ecclesiology
Appreciation for the mission of the Holy Spirit in the formation , empowerment and commissioning of early church communities.
Liturgical and Sacramental Theology
Understanding of the theological and historical development of the Eucharist . sacramental; liturgical and devotional life of the Church.
The Mystery of the Holy Trinity
To give the student a basic awareness of the literature and issues concerning the central Christian symbol of God, and the basic insights about the doctrine of the Trinity.

The Christian Movement found its first and most vivid voice in the letters of the apostle Paul.. Paul’s letters reveal a human personality so forcibly yet complex that, for some, coming to grips with Christianity means first of all coming to grips with Paul.
