Mission Statement

 

We, the Parish Administrators of Religious Education/Faith Formation of the Diocese of Gary, as a ministerial association, foster spiritual enrichment, mutual support, professional growth and excellence of our members in collaboration with parishes, deaneries and diocesan offices.

 

Purpose

 

 

 

 

 

 

Membership

 

PAREFF membership is open to all parish administrators of religious education/faith formation programs (paid or volunteer, part-time or full-time).

 

Dues

 

The membership consists of all PAREFF members established by payment of yearly dues. Dues cover the membership from October 15 to October 14th of the calendar year. The membership meets twice a year for spiritual and professional enrichment.

Leadership Council meets monthly

Catechist/Liturgical Day

Two general gatherings per year

Support Diocesan events and meetings

 

Leadership Council

 

The Leadership Council consists of ten members. The Council meets regularly to conduct PAREFF business, planning events, voicing administrative concerns, and fostering communication throughout the organization and Diocese.

 

 

Governance

 

The Leadership Council functions as a true collegial body. All members of the Council are equal in authority and responsibility. After voting from all paid members, the Council discerns each position.

Membership in the association provides you with opportunities for spiritual and professional growth as well as networking and peer support. Membership in PAREFF provides connections to the Indiana Conference of Catechetical Leadership (ICCL) and National Conference of Catechetical Leadership (NCCL)

 

 

Registration

 

Full Membership

 

$25.00 annually establishes membership. Full members are entitled to attend all meetings and programs, serve on committees, receive all mailings and are eligible to vote and hold office.

 

Associate Membership

 

$25.00 annually establishes membership. Associate membership is open to former members and other interested individuals. Associate members have all the rights of regular members but they cannot vote or hold office.
