Saint Paul Catholic School is seeking an energetic, creative, flexible middle-school Language
Arts teacher for the school year 2008-09. In a rather unusual twist, the teacher hired will
not only have a 6th-grade home room and teach 6th-grade Religion next year in addition to
Language Arts classes, but will also “shadow” the present 8th-grade sponsor (who will retire
in June of 2009) and take over the 8th-grade sponsorship for 2009-10. Language Arts
duties will include composition, grammar, literature, novels, vocabulary, and spelling for
6th, 7th, and 8th grades. 8th-grade sponsorship involves graduation, retreat, Awards Banquet,
