DIOCESAN TUITION ASSISTANCE
The Diocese of Gary has an annual $425,000 Tuition Assistance Program. This money is available due, in part, to the Tuition Assistance Endowment Program, which the Catholic Services Appeals has funded annually since 1987. Applications are available to Catholic families who belong to a Diocese of Gary parish and who would like to send their children to a Catholic school. Any Catholic student who belongs to a Diocese of Gary parish, who attends a diocesan school, and is entering grades 1-12 is eligible to apply for assistance. The Schools Office emphasizes that the program provides "assistance", not full scholarships.
Application packets are ONLY available from your parish office during the month of February. Instructions for completing the application and information about the processing fee are included in the packet.
There are strict deadlines for this process, so please be sure to contact your parish office about the program.
