Gary Diocesan Choir

The primary ministry of the Gary Diocesan Choir is singing for approximately 5 liturgies a year at the Cathedral of the Holy Angels over which Bishop Dale J. Melczek presides.

The Gary Diocesan Choir has a membership of 35 singers from around the diocese and is directed by Kristopher Seaman, associate director of the Office of Worship and diocesan director of music. Membership is open to singers who are:

1. active in a parish choir

2. possess a pleasing voice

3. and committed to participation in both rehearsals and liturgies.

Rehearsals average two a month from October - May. Rehearsals are held on Sundays from 2pm to 4pm. Spaces do become available every year. Please contact Kristopher Seaman to schedule an audition.
