Roque Meraz

Roque Meraz, 30, is beginning his first year of theological studies at Seminario Hispano de Santa Maria de Guadalupe in Mexico City.  He is the youngest of eight children in his family.  Roque experiences an attraction to the spiritual life and the call of God to the priesthood.  He has served in many different ministries at his home parish, St. Mary Church (East Chicago). He expresses a deep gratitude for the opportunity to prepare for the priesthood and demonstrates his thankfulness through generosity.  Studying at a new seminary and in a new city can be challenging, but Roque has great trust in God’s Providence and in His love.
