Fr. Kevin Huber is the Vocation Director for the Diocese of Gary. Bishop Norbert Gaughan, second bishop of the Diocese of Gary, ordained him as priest on June 1, 1991.
Bishop Melczek appointed Fr. Kevin as Vocation Director in 2003. He has also serve as the Coordinator of the Office of Priestly Life and Ministry and Chaplain at Bishop Noll Institute.
In 17 years of priestly ministry, Fr. Kevin has served in numerous assignments. His parish assignments include: Queen of All Saints Parish, Michigan City, Indiana, St. John the Evangelist Parish, St. John, Indiana, St. Paul Parish, Valparaiso, Our Lady of Grace in Highland, and St. Patrick Parish.
Originally from Portage, Indiana, Fr. Kevin entered Saint Meinrad Seminary College in 1983 after graduating from Portage High School. In 1987, he graduated from Saint Meinrad College with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He continued priestly formation at Saint Meinrad School of Theology and graduated from Saint Meinrad School of Theology in 1991. In May, 2008, Fr. Kevin received the Doctor of Ministry Degree in Preaching from Aquinas Institute of Theology, St. Louis, Missouri.
