do not drop off or mail stuff at the Pastoral Center unless instructed to
do so, as you will only slow down the process! See or talk to your group

CYX REGISTRATION MADE EASY
(and the

1. Register
your group online at catholicyouthx.com before June 13. |
2. Submit your
FORMS ONLY (no deposits!) in one complete packet to Carole
Sluce before June 27. |
3. Register
those latecomers online between June 28 & July 7. |
4. Submit
all remaining forms and ALL PAYMENTS to Carole Sluce before
July 11. |

registering teens is never that easy!):
THU., MAY 1 – FRI.,
JUNE 13: Standard Registration Period
Online registration open
Parish leaders have up to and including Friday, June 13th to register
their group online at catholicyouthx.com. All participants registering
during this period lock in at the standard conference registration rate of
$130 per person.
Please refer to the Cancellation Policy prior to registering your
teens!# No money or forms are accepted during this period.
Online registration closes after June 13th.
SAT., JUNE 14 – FRI,
JUNE 27: Forms Accepted
Online registration closed
 During
this period, FORMS ONLY (no deposits required!) may be turned in for those
persons who were registered during the Standard Registration Period.
Parish leaders must submit all forms together. Air conditioned
dorms will be assigned to groups in the order in which complete group
packets of forms were submitted.%
SAT., JUNE 28 – MON.,
JULY 7: Late Registration Period
Online registration open
Parish leaders have up to and including Monday, July 7th to register
additional participants online at catholicyouthx.com. All participants
registering during this period will be charged the late conference
registration rate of $150 per person.
Please refer to the Cancellation Policy prior to
registering your teens!# No money or forms are accepted
during this period.

closes after July 7th.
TUE.,
JULY 8 – FRI., JULY 11: Special Late Registration Period
Online registration closed
Parish leaders wishing to add participants after July 7 must contact
Carole Sluce directly. Additional participants will be accepted during
this period only if it creates an even dorm placement (2 males/females to
a room). Example: If St. Spongebob Parish was already sending 4 teen
girls, and Suzie wished to register for CYX on July 10, she would not be
allowed to register unless she found an additional teen girl to register
as well. No registrations will be accepted
after July 11th. (See note below)

A note from Kev:
This
deadline will be enforced. Please recognize that the decision to deny
registrants after July 11th was difficult because no one ever wants to
deny a ministry opportunity for a young person. However administrative
time spent processing last-minute registrants can sacrifice the
quality of the conference in many ways. Simply put, every waking hour
of the last week is needed for CYX preparation, and those that do
follow registration deadlines deserve the best CYX possible! Please
remind your teens of this policy. |
TUE., JULY 8 – FRI.,
JULY 11: Payment & Forms Accepted
Online registration closed
During this period, all forms for added participants and ALL PAYMENTS
must be submitted to Registration Coordinator Carole Sluce by the adult
group leader. Parish leaders may contact Carole directly (219-769-2295)
regarding their group balance due. No forms or money will be accepted
after July 11. Parishes with forms or money due at that time will submit
what they owe at check-in.

Cancellation Policy
 :
To protect OYYA from being billed by Valparaiso U. for participants
that cancel, at least 50% of registration fees are non-refundable.
Once a registration is submitted online, they are considered a CYX
participant and subject to this policy. Cancellations must be
communicated in writing or email to Carole Sluce (c/o Our Lady of
Consolation Youth Ministry, 8303 Taft St., Merrillville, IN 46410 /
olcteenAThotmail.com ) on or before June 27th. Cancellations after June
27th are responsible for 100% of their registration rate unless that
person can be replaced by another participant of the same gender.

In the spirit of fairness, groups that add 20% or more participants
(beyond their Standard Registration number) after June 22 forfeit
their priority dorm placement. |
