DYC Reps:
Thanks to DYC reps for a great April meeting. If you missed it, click "MEETING NOTES" to your left for notes. WAAAAAY too many unexcused absences. Remember: "Each member is expected to notify the Office of Youth Ministry before the meeting if he/she cannot be present and why."
May will be a great meeting: not only will we be busy with CYX committee work, but we will welcome to the Council new reps and acknowledge and pray for our outgoing seniors.

 THANK YOU! to all DYC reps who served the young ones at grásta dé! I can't tell you how many adult leaders commented how great it was that the DYC was there in strong numbers. By your witness you show the younger ones that they too can CHOOSE Christ and youth ministry!

Reminders...
• You should be meeting with your youth minister(s) at least once a month, to ensure that there is a flow of information back and forth.
• Please take a moment to review the DYC Bylaws, and the future DYC Dates. I’ll really be paying attention to unexcused absences and permission forms. Simple stuff, but I gotta’ be the “enforcer.”
• If you know you cannot make a significant portion of the meetings, please contact your youth leader ASAP about finding another rep. No need to apologize, we’d just rather have another teen who can attend more regularly.

Wanted: New DYC reps! Attention Youth Ministry Leaders: You can add DYC reps at any time. Each parish is allowed up to two HS-aged reps. You may utilize the Info Sheet to the left as an application, but all I really need to add them is your okay and their contact information. I will mail them and their parents a welcome packet. Reps should have a general understanding of the roles and responsibilities. Check out the Bylaws, FAQ, and Dates links to the left. ~Kev

YOUTH MINISTRY LEADERS: If your HS-aged parish/group/organization is not represented on the DYC, you may add up to two reps at any time! DYC terms are determined by you, and we're always accepting new reps. Just have the teens complete the Info sheets, and mail them to Kev! |

Have a nice day.” That wouldn’t work on your school offices! Also, please give me advance notice. Emails on the day of the meeting aren’t a good thing.
