Some members of OLGYAM gather for a pic at a recent event |

> OLGYAM hosted the first Diocese of Gary Theology On Tap outside parish walls, taking the program to Langel's Pizza in downtown Highland. It was so successful they needed a bigger banquet room! See afew pix from the series at the TOT website: www.garyontap.com , click on Highland Area button.
> Winter social at OLGYAM A vibrant group of young adults met for a quiet evening of food and fellowship. It is amazing to me how people who seem so diverse on the outside are so in tune with each other on the inside. Our conversation topics ranged from jobs, to relationships, to childbirth and which night clubs were hot...yes all of these topics are related! Come join us next month to learn more!
> Sister Chris Connely of Claret Center joined the group for refreshments and a wonderful discussion about prayer in January. Sr. Chris explained that there are many different ways to pray. Not everyone needs to pray in the same way, prayer is as unique as all of us. Another key point is that God is waiting for us to ask him to come into our lives. Take some quiet and time and see what happens.
> November's program was presented by Fr John Plavcan. A dedicated group of young adults gathered and had many questions answered about how the Sacraments are viewed today. Everyone went away from the event with a greater understanding of our faith.
December's program as canceled but we hope to reschedule the speaker for later in the year.
> October 17th, Langel's, Happy Hour... Many smiling faces gathered at Langel's for pizza and fellowship. We welcomed several new people to our event. Several door prizes were given away as well.
We are co-sponsoring a service project with OLG Elizabeth Ministry. At our November and December gatherings we will be collecting new games, puzzles and activity books. All of the items collected will be distributed to local children's homes.
> September 19, Explanation of the Mass, Including Recent Changes... a discussion with OLG Pastor Father Edward Moszur. A faithful group of young adults gathered to have their questions about Mass and recent changes to liturgy answered. A great discussion was lead by Fr. Moszur. Everyone enjoyed the evening and now has a deeper understanding of our weekly celebration.
> September 29th, Our Lady of Grace hosted nine riders from Bike for Democracy. The cyclists were welcomed into the school cafeteria for a home cooked high carb meal. The evening was spent talking about life in the region, politics and enjoying the local culture. A pancake breakfast was prepared Thursday morning as the cyclists prepared for their next leg of their journey. Photos:
